Default Back cover of Exchange unit

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I auctioned a Bold 9000 with o2 branding from ebay. Apparently, the back cover of the new exchange unit is completely of plastic, not partially of leather like the devices in the shops. Additionally, the bezel's chrome finish is more opal than glossy like others.

Does anyone held such an alternate devive in his hands? Is it usually to get back a cheper back cover in the case of rapair?

I noticed also that the IMEI begins with 98 and not with 35 which is written on the package.

Best regards,

RA
