Default Internet Service disabled?

I bought a Bold 9000 on ebay for private use.
Unfortunately, I have a carrier that does not support Blackberry. So when I try to setup an email account I can only choose the Enterprise Server Option and not the Internet Service.
Will this change once I use another sim card from a working carrier, or is it possible that my bb is locked and a carrier change will not help?

(I already tried to delete the IT policy thing, but this did not help)

Thanks for your support, I have no idea what to do!

You need to get THE BlackBerry Data Plan from a carrier who supports BlackBerry.

Once you've done that, you will get a 'personal email setup' icon.

If your carrier does not support blackberry's then you will need to switch to one that will.
