Default Yahoo mail through RIM or Yahoo server?

Please Login to Remove!

I receive yahoo emails from friends on their identical BBBold 9000 (BIS) OS 4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247)(both unlocked) and when I run a full header view on the PC version of the Yahoo message, theirs comes from California and Yahoo's IP.

Mine, on the other hand, comes thru RIM's IP address.

I'd like mine to come thru as Yahoo not RIM. Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance.

209.191.84.227 is yahoo in Sunnyvale. Mine comes through as 68.171.234.78 (RIM)

Is your friend using BIS or the Yahoo application?

I guess the question is why does it really matter?

As mentioned above, your friends must be using the Yahoo direct connection whereas you probably have your Yahoo coming via BIS?
