Default Mute button

Please Login to Remove!

Guys,

I see the mute button is for stand by mode. What does that mean? When I use that key it uses less battery? What changes exactly?

Is there a shortchut to mute the volume?

Also the up/down volume on home screen doesnt visually show me vol going up/down. Seems only works if Im on a call or playing an audio file...?

Thanks

That is supposed to happen, you will not see the volume visually change, only on a call or when you play audio files.

Thanks. Im still confused when to use Mute button... Its better to use it for example always? Or just at nite...? Since it uses less battery but it seems all works fine... So whats the difference?

About volume change, no problem, Id prefer it show me independant of having a call or play audio files so I can visually adjust it anytime, but if not possible, ok...

You can use the mute button anytime. It just puts in standby mode. You can still receive sms, calls, and emails. You can't visually adjust the volume anytime.
