Hi guys, I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 that came originally with a 4.6 OS. I upgraded the phone´s OS to the BlackBerry Handheld Software v5.0.0.1004 (Multilanguage) and the phone begins to reboot sporadically. I went back to the 4.6 OS and till now is working good. I live in Panama and my carrier is Telefonica. Suposly RIM published the certified version for Telefonica Lantin America and is the 9000M_PBr5.0.0_rel1004_PL5.2.0.57_A5.0.0.592_Telef onica.exe . I dont think the phone is bad,

The cellphone originally was for telefonica but i unlocked it to use with cabe & wireless

Actually my carrier is Cable & Wireless. Originally the phone was for Telefonica exclusive use but i unlocked it.

Try loading it again and make sure your vendor.xml file is deleted before you're loading it.

The same thing happened with my Bold on Rogers with different 5.0 OS...I just simply loaded the phone with the same OS again, and everything worked fine. Sometimes, there can be issues when loading a new OS to your phone. Going from 4.6 to 5.0 is a pretty big change...so seeing that kind of issue is not totally out of the ordinary...
