Default Blackberry ebay screen issues. Help Please!

Please Login to Remove!

I thought it was on excellent condition (as it says on the condition) but after reviewing (once he sent the phone) I saw it had this dim problem with the screen, like diagonal lines with less bright.

I have a few questions.

I am from Venezuela, so it will be a while till I get my phone. I thought of buying a new screen but then I realized I had to wait for it to be on my hands to buy it cause I don't know the screen model. Are the screen models depending on the carrier who manufactured the phone? I mean, the phone is from at&t is it possible that at&t has their own screen model for each bb bold they sell?

Second question, is there any fix besides replacing the screen for this issue?

Third question, how annoying is it to have the screen like that? Is it very noticeable? If I graduate somehow the brightness would the problem disappear? Or at least partly...

Thanks!

Geez. Have some patience will ya! You only waited 38 minutes. We are all volunteers here. You have to wait until someone comes along who can assist you.

If I were you, I would return the device and get your money back. You are asking for more problems. What if the new screen isn't the fix? What is you break something else trying to install the screen? What if there are more problems?

Don't buy it.

Carriers don't assembly Blackberry handsets. RIM does. There are 4 known versions for the 9000 screen and you need to get your hands on the handset and open it up in order to find out which one you got.

It's hardware failure. You repair hardware failures by replacing the failed component.

No, it doesn't disappear, it just gets worse. Just get a replacement screen, they sell for a peanut.50
