Ive had my Blackberry for over a Year now, and recently I dropped into my dogs water bowl by accident. I took it out and left it to dry for over an hour in the sun, it was working perfectly for a couple of days and now the Back light on the screen won't come up at all, I can hardly see what I'm doing ... and my Tracker ball seems to have stopped working too, I have to press really hard on it to get anywhere, but even then it sometimes doesn't do anything - everything else on the phone works fine, it's just those two things that are stopping me from using my Phone.

Are both of these problems fixable or will I have to pay £170 to get another phone?

You should have left the device apart in a bag of rice for about a week.
You've likely put the battery in too quickly and its fried something internally.

Is there anyway of fixing though, 'cause I don't really want to go down to the Carphone Warehouse tomorrow for no reason ....
