i am using os 4.6.0.167(4.0.0.157)
now when im open the apploader i get an error after he does the device check.
the error is somethin like:
blackberry desktop software dont have a blackberry device software for your device that can connect your pc.

the phone is from at&t,he is unlocked,and located in israel

anyone know how can i fix it?

First of all, which device do you have - the 9700 per your profile or the 9000 since you posted in the 9000 section. It makes a different. Please update your profile to indicate the correct device if you are now using the 9000.

Not exactly sure but once you downloaded the new OS to your PC, did you install it and delete the vendor.xml file?

See the yellow sticky at the top of the 9000 section for the current OS and instructions. Follow them exactly step by step.

and yes iv'e followed the instructions and still...

Be sure that the correct software is on the desktop pc; if using a Mac then use the Mac SO if using a Windows be sure that you are using the windows. Then just reinstall the Desktop software if that dosent work, do a security wipe on the blackberry and then try updating. If the problem still comes up please contact your wireless service provider.
