Default Bold 9000 T-Mobile Branded?

Please Login to Remove!

Once again, going back to BB.

I am currently looking at Blackberry 9000 that is T-Mobile branded.

Is this true? I thought T-Mobile didnt carry this model. The lady selling it to me also said that it was capable of T-MO's 3G, but she wasnt sure on UMA.

Any insights on this? (I'm stoked, only getting it for $80)

T-Mobile USA certainly never sold it...
Remember there are several T-Mobile around the world.

Be careful.

The 9000 was never on T-mobile US.
T-mobile UK, and european countries had a 9000.

If the startup image is t-mobile, its not a US model.
If only the branding on the phone (bottom plate beneath keyboard) says T-mobile, its likely been swapped out.

T-Mo US's 3G is different than Europe 3G, so it won't work for 3G; and European models didn't have UMA.

So, it was a European version. I declined to purchase as the Z and Y keys were switched out on the keyboard. Thanks guys for the insight!
