Hey guys,


So my girlfriend foolishly dropped my Blackberry Bold into the pool... It was in the pool for 3-5 seconds and as soon as i took it out, took out the battery and placed it in a ziplock bag of rice. Waited 3 days, replaced the battery with a new one and started it back up on 3rd day. It starts, everything is working (keyboard, screen, mouse-thing). The only problem is every 1 minute or 2, the phone randomly acts like Im pressing the keys and as well as the voice dialing button on the side...

Is there anything I can do?

I know most likely not but would like some advice if anyone knows anything!

exactly, or longer, 4-5. Be patient and DO NOT check it until those days are up.

Yes. Hope putting the battery back in didn't damage anything.

There is the possibility that it was damaged in the initial exposure. If you've given it plenty of time to dry and it is still hosed, then that's what you should assume.

Should I keep it in the same bag of rice... or change out the rice?

If you have to ask, then why not just change the rice. Whether it helps or not, it aint going to hurt.
