I'm hoping somebody here will humor me and help me out with this issue I'm having setting up ringer profiles on my new Bold 9650. I've been playing with it for the last hour and I can't figure it out.

On my old Pearl, I had a profile set up where the phone would ring outside the holster. When it was inside the holster, it would vibrate twice and then ring. I can't seem to replicate this with the Bold, no matter how I try to change the settings. No matter what I do, it will only vibrate when in the holster.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple, but I figured somebody here probably knows the fix so I don't have to throw the thing out the window.

After reading some more on this issue, it sounds like a problem a lot of Bold users have experienced. It's nice to know I've spent a bunch of money on a new Blackberry that has apparently lost some of the features my old one had.

Sorry, there were only two forums for the Bold, and the other one was for the 9700 series and above. That sort of left only this one as far as I could tell. I'll find somewhere else to post it.

The 9650 is a 9600 device series, it therefore should have gone into the 9600 series device forum (despite it being named the Tour forum, as it was orignially the Tour series)

first off, what OS version are you using? i know 5.0 has the capability you are talking about.
