Here are a couple issues i've found with the new OS 5 - please tell me if you've found ways around this or know a fix.

1. If you go to Message Options - Inbox Settings - and include SMS/MMS in the main message list, then new text messages do not display with a new text notification picture at the top of the screen. Instead, a notification appears simply as a new message. Without a separate text notification it makes it difficult to know which of your messages are texts vs. emails.

2. While playing media from a playlist with the media player, the option to "Show Songs" will not stay on the main screen. In previous versions, the ability to navigate the playlist from the "Show Songs" list was very helpful and it is very inconvenient to have to activate the "Show Songs" option for every single track change.

3. Pressing and holding A or * simply locks the keyboard instead of password lock, which is redundant and useless.

Once again, please tell me if you've found ways around these issues or know a fix.

1 & 2 - don't know . . . I don't use SMS, and don't use media player app much (usually playing files directly

3 - already MUCH discussed (and no way around, but there are other ways to password lock, of course .... turn off languages short cut and use alt-return, or use lock icon)
