I just installed a SanDisk 16 GB memory card. It shows under "Status" as 14.8 GB free space available under the media card option, but only 17.9 MB free space under Application Memory (and 856.8MB free space under Device Memory). What I am trying to do is use the sandisk memory for the additional emails stored on my bb. These are emails from my corporate email system. My question is: will the additional emails stored in the future use up the 14.8GB free space on the media card? I hope so. Thanks for any responses.

The Sandisk Media Card is only for Media. Songs, pictures, movies, etc. It can't be used to store e-mails. It can't be used to store applications. The media card only stores media.

No. You can use the microSD for media files, documents, and so forth, and some apps will store data on the card. But not what you want to do.

Thanks for your responses. Seems like my bb is running out of memory to store email and those type of files. Is there a card instead of the sandisk media card that can do that?

I really doubt email is your problem. You need to make sure and put all media (audio, video, images) on the media card. Don't download a bunch of themes. If you've downloaded a bunch of apps, get rid of those you don't really need. And don't keep email forever; it's a MOBILE DEVICE, so set to keep 30 days or something like that.
