Default 507 tried everything help please

Hi there,

I just got a used Blackberry bold 9000. Worked fine, I was intalling the new software when my computer froze and since then I was getting an error and it would never turn on. SO i used JL_Cmder no wipe it out and tried the reset to factory. Now i get error 507 wen i try the reset to factory it says COM error. On my desktop manager softawre (v.6.0) it recognizes the blackberry but I can not access anything so bsaiclly it recognizes i but it knows its not working everything is tinted gray. I tried searching every possible thing and tried a whole bunch but with no success. Would anybody be willing to give me a last idea to try? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. (using windows 7, desktop manager 6.0)

Are you connected via a HUB or directly into the BB?

507 means no OS. Try reloading using app loader rather than DM.

See the yellow sticky at the top of the 9000 section for the latest OS and instructions. Follow them exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer.

And please update your profile with the correct BB. There is no model 8000B.

I think the biggest problem is new users think the reload is done and pull the connection down during a period it looks like it's stalled.
The result = error 507.

follow Dubdub's suggestion be patient.
