Default can not assign Gmail as push email on Bold

Dear all,

I have a problem using Gmail as push-email on 9000 Bold. Initially it was working fine on receiving/sending emails but they did not go to the assigned Gmail account folder. Instead they went to the 'messages' folder, as integrated mails (automatically). by the way, my is using BIS data plan.

I tried deleting the account by checking the service books. It turned out that there were no service books for my Gmail account. So I tried hard resetting the device. Afterward, I signed up for the Gmail account again, but it says "incorrect password or username" and it also asked to be validated. why is it asking to be validated when it was working fine the first time? I just want the emails to be directed to the account folder. I've my other email working fine on my Storm2, but this one is quite mind boggling :( I would very much appreciate any enlightenment. thank you beforehand for any info
