Help! My ringer or any sounds dont work.

Default Help! My ringer or any sounds dont work.

My 9000 rings and I recieve text messages with sounds then after a while I get no sounds, no ringing or anything. Then I do a battery pull and it works again, the issue is it keeps happening.......any advise. Im using the latest OS from AT&T 5.0.0.822

Bug in that version of OS. Been reported many times already. For whatever reason, it doesn't seem to affect everyone though. For instance, I am running that version on my 9000 and only had to problem once right after the update. Been fine ever since.

Upgraded to 5.0.0.822 and now no sound or vibrations for alerts

KB24307-Ringtones and alerts do not play regardless of the tune or volume setting

Default .822 is not recommended, go with prior release .681
Known issue with .822 release. With something as critical and basic as your ringer and alerts not working, this release is not recommended. I recommend you load the prior release .681 instead.
