Set 3G Network only

Is there a way to choose my bold 9000 to 3G network only ??
I use version 5.0.0.411.

Go to Option, Mobile Network, and Network Mode then you can change to 3G only, 2G only, or 3G & 2G.

This does not work for all providers/handhelds/OS versions.
Some carriers will not permit you to force the 3G setting.

On my my phone I see only 2G only, or 3G & 2G.
There's no 3G only

Penguin (as usual) is correct. It is controlled by the carrier.

if your carrier let u you use 3G, you gonna face a superfast battery leaks. 2G better

I think your best best here would be to use 2G & 3G, I thought it worked like, if 3G service is available in your location it will be used but 2G is used when you're out of 3G coverage.

I think the mode "2g & 3g" is 3g, when u are too far from wave 3g... Your phone auto change to 2g... What wrong? So good ?
