Way to get Password Keeper info on desktop without phone?

My BB Bold died. I did back up the phone on the desktop manager a few months ago. I am interested in getting my password keeper information from my PC. Is that possible without the phone working?

The only solution I know is to restore the backup to another BlackBerry. Is your broken BlackBerry unfixable?
