Hey everybody....so one of my bold 9000's is having an odd issue. I recently purchased this and haven't used the phone much at all and today I put my SIM into it and it has difficulty jumping onto 3G. Right now it's on Edge. I have taken the midplate/antenna from my other functioning bold 9000 and put it into this one and same issue.

I have reinstalled the OS multiple times, even downgraded to v4 then back to v5 and same issues.

Mobile network says edge(lowercase) and mobile network provider says ROGERS. Edge has about 0-1 bar.

It has difficulty getting onto edge also, sometimes it will just sit there trying to search for it to pickup a signal

Any suggestions what could be causing this?

My SIM was tested in my other phone and works great.

Problem resolved.

From my observations...the bold that was having problems with getting the SP service, well it was an older hardware design/model...and that includes the antenna.

I took it on my way to work the next day and it was working just great as I was leaving my wooded area. Phone works great, it's just the antenna seems a bit weaker/older design then my newer revised bold 9000.
