There is barriers between the rows of keys. They are aluminum and will prevent you from pressing the keys above or below the keys you are trying to push. And with it not being out, I don't know how so many don't like it. Try it, if you don't like it, then complain.
Don't buy it if you don't like it.
Also, quit talking about the iphone. This is blackberryforums.com.
And this is the area for 9000 series discussion.
So keep it to that. If you want to talk about Apple Products, go to your local artsie hangout, wear abstract clothes, focus on your emotions, and world peace and drink overpriced latte's.

pretty ballsy for a 4th post.
Its is a sad reality though now that any phone with even minimal PDA functionality is going to be compared to the iPhone. Its better to just get used to it.
But anyway, I like the 8800 keyboard and I have no complaints on the design for the 9000. Cant wait to try it.
7280 > 7290 > 8700c > 8100 > 8800 > iPhone (??) > 8320.....and i'll just keep going.

the 9000, design-wise, is 10 times better than the 8800 and curve, the metal accents, and it looks like the fit and finish are superior too

Go Ballsy or Go Home.
I've been reading this forum for the past year and a half or so.
No need to make comments if I don't see fit.
Back to the bickering.

If YOU don't see fit? If Im not mistaken, this forum is home to ALL members. A discussion will have comparison arguments that will lead to disagreements, but all in the name of voicing an individual's opinion.
When you turn on your phone, does it return the favor? Welcome to BlackBerry!

What a minute there. Don't get too hot under the collar. Reread his posts. He was refering to himself: as in he's read the forums for over a year and didn't feel fit to post unless HE felt he was needed to do so. Thats all - at least how I read it.
However, I somewhat agree with him to an extent. I too am getting sick of the iPhone being compared to every other phone; when really only the motion-sensor is innovative. The touch sensitivity is evolutionary, not revolutionary (I've given it a 2 day try from a friend whom imported it). Furthermore the ear-piece proximity sensor (should be a patent by Apple) is not new. A very OLD Ericsson phone (R520m) had this very same technology over 5yrs ago!
Back on topic!
Question, does anyone have the "UN-touched" photos - the original engadget posted - and full length video of all the 9000 menu's that was posted? I'm curious to see what the other icons were for.
Looking for that perfect signature, hmm.

Thank you to my Canadian Brethren for stepping up and clarifying my post.
I was saying that I don't make a comment if I don't see fit.
I bought a new pair of shoes yesterday.
Would anyone like me to post pictures of them so we can compare them side by side to the iphone? My coffee I'm drinking is more robust than the iphone and has a more subtle color tone. It gets me energized more than the iphone but doesn't have the communication abilities of the iphone. The web browser in my coffee is non functional at the time and doesn't support flash html like the iphone. I get approx 3 hours of talk time from my coffee and it only takes 2 minutes to make more opposed to hours of charging on the iphone. I hear God uses an iphone. The devil uses a blackberry. Steve Jobs sits at the right hand of God. I saw Steve walking on water.
Wait 2 more years and it's going to be a religion led by Steve-o Jobs-O. Services held every Sunday at your local genius store or whatever they call those places with the glass stairs. You'll be baptized in a pool of iphones by Steve. Instead of wearing a white gown you have to wear skinny jeans, a print t-shirt with a strange design, a wool sweater, and a multi-color scarf. Upon baptism, you receive a Bill Gates voodoo doll and an assorment of pins and needles.
I'm sorry, it's just starting to get a tad overbearing and borderline annoying. You can't fart now days without someone saying their iphone can make a better fart noise than you did.
Well, with that said, I would like to talk about the release of the Blackberry 9000 series. I would really love to see a T-Mobile release of this device at the same time as the ATT release. Bluetooth, Camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Media Player, Expandable memory, 3G, Web Browsing, etc. I heard from a RIM employee today that there is a slot on the side that a small hammer slides into so when someone says their iphone is better you ask to see it, take out your hammer and smash it to smitherines.

That was kind of the point. To make a point of how every post turns out.
Thank you for noticing.

It looks cool and all but in the video, it seems a bit "clicky" to me. I mean the keys and/or trackball seem to make a loud clicking sound. The Curve keys are already clicky enough and the trackball is really "gritty" compared to my old Pearl.
There's really nothing spectacular enough about it to make me switch from my Curve.
All I really wanted was flash player and a tiny little hole for a lanyard and I would have been first in line for this!!

It wasn't the product (physical) that caused Palms issues. It was lackluster management/lack "OF" management in advancing the OS since 4.2!! Screwing Sony over for innovations (soft-writing area/OS management features/etc) making them submitt innovative code to the PalmSource (another bad idea splitting up the business just to combine it again later), and then NOT going to Cobalt when it was ready and charging TOO much for it when it only had incremental features for manufacturers or providers. It was the aging software that put them where they are now. If it wasn't for Microsoft ... Palm what?!
RIM is progressive-conservative. This is just fine.
