Buy the 8330 if you want to stay with Sprint. The 9000 is a GSM phone and will be available for AT&T. Switching carriers is the only way you'll get that phone this summer.

You cant buy it buddy, anywhere! It's not released on any network in the US, Canada, or anywhere in the world. The one that Kevin from Crackberry got was a prototype he bought$$ on ebay, and who knows if another will show up! If it does, get on line with the rest of the world, and look to pay BIG $$$ BUCKS.

Thanks Sean. I am an early adapter and I can afford whatever price it takes to get in early.

If anyone has something to show me I'd be interested.

I can only guess but with regards to pricing you would think it would have to be positioned well against the iPhone.... People that are going to buy an iPhone will and same for BB but for those folks in the middle if RIM REALLY wants to go after the iPhone they are going to have to price accordingly.

Who's that peekin' in my window?...POW....nobody now.

Well I don't have any inside information or anything... but I have been following the 9000 very closely and there has never been any direct mention of the CDMA model. Look at how long it took Sprint to get the 8330. Almost a year after it came out for the GSM carriers.

But no, I'm not sure about it.

Absolutely positive.. I will make a check out to you for ONE MILLION DOLLARS if the BB Bold gets released to Sprint in June. There is no chance in you know what. It you want the Bold, switch to AT&T and wait a month.

There has been no mention of any BB through Sprint channels that is getting released, maybe your "dude" was referring to the Instinct?

There has been absolutely nothing, no even rumor, to back that up. Ask "your Dude" what he is smoking!

Let us know what he says. Sorry if I offended but it is all rumors now and between now and when the real release date is announced there will be hundreds of more rumors. I have seen these new devices come and go so many times.

Based on InfoSync World RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 (AT&T) vs. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 (T-Mobile) vs. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 (Verizon Wireless) vs. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 (Sprint) - infoSync Reviews they are saying July for AT&T and September for the other carriers.

The AT&T release date is close and by close I mean within a month, same with T-Mobile. But the other two are just plain ridiculous!
I have nothing but respect for Kevin @ CrackBerry and the boys over at Engadget. They're just posting the news, but this is just a bad post to use for information.

I don't see where you get off attacking me on the basis I posted information that had and still does have value to the BlackBerry World. What exactly are these forums for? They are to share information that you read about, hear about or know about. What I did was pass on information I found, read, and thought others would find useful. Did I say it was gospel, did I say it was the end all be all truth. If you have any experience you will know that any information on the internet is subject to change. So you can drop the attitude and wake up to the fact I have been using PDA's, SmartPhones long enough to know what is real and what is fantasy.

So according to this:

Rogers June launches: BlackBerry Bold, HTC Shift, ROKR E8, and more : The Boy Genius Report

Rogers is releaseing the Bold in June. I would think that means the same for AT&T. If so...WOOHOO!

August/September date, this is from my friend who works for AT&T as an Account Executive for Large corp accounts who have lot's of BB's. He was on a conference call and that was what they were told. Hopefully AT&T will see the greed light and release early, but you can never know.
