Default Caller can't hear me

Please Login to Remove!

I have a brand new 9330 Curve from Verizon. Just picked it up yesterday. When I get a call the caller can hear me, but I cannot hear them. If I put them on speaker they can hear me. Tried a battery pull and now even on speaker phone the caller cannot hear me.

Does anyone have a cure for this? Or should I just return the phone and get a new one. It's less than 24 hours old.

Just to be sure...You did the battery pull with the power on and you waited at least 30 seconds? You ought to try again, and wait a minute or two.

How long did you go before the trouble, or was it practically from the start? I guess either way if the hard reset doesn't correct it I'd just go back to the store with it.

Yes, I waited for a full minute. I'll try again one more time just to be sure. It was with the first call that the phone received. It has not worked even once.
