Default sim card rejected - unlocked phone

I bought my cousins blackberry curve 9300 off her the other day, its unlocked, but when i put my 3 sim card in it says sim card rejected at the top and SOS where the signal bars should be.

Anyone know anyway i can get it to work? cheeers

First thing is to double check that it is unlocked - How do I determine if my BlackBerry is "unlocked"? - BlackBerryFAQ

Second - are you 100% sure the SIM card is inserted properly?

yeah man, its unlocked, network says disabled on that menu, and yeah im pretty sure its in the right way. is there anyway it'll work ?
