Default black screen with incoming message

Hi to all i dont know whether ive a problem or not but i have curve9300 with os6. when i recieve texts or emails my screen stays dark led flashes but just wondered if ther was a way to make screen light up on incoming messages

I assume you are talking about the case where the BlackBerry is in your hand or on the desk or table and the screen has timed out and turned off? If so, I think the answer is no. At least what you are seeing is what I have always observed.

You can get the behavior you want if you use a BlackBerry holster, and the BlackBerry will display the just-received messages when you remove the device from the holster.
