ok so i bought a 9300 curve from a friend and it wont read sim cards (the phone has never been used its new) it turns on and it works perfectly fine it is an mtn phone but is fully UNLOCKED (iv been makeing sure every 20 min for the last 2 days) yet it wont read mtn sim cards either if i go into options>device>advanced system settings>sim card>type MEPD everything is disabled and their is a sim in but all it displays is:
personalization:
SIMDisabled
NetworkDisabled
Network subsetDisabled
Service ProviderDisabled
CorporateDisabled

my friends curve 3G displays more than that.....

the sim is in correctly and i have tried 32k and 64k sim cards.
i dont know if this is relevant but wifi works no problem....
