Just bought my daughter blackberry 9300 on 3 (2nd hand ) on pay as you go ,i have just put a top up in it , she wants to use facebook ,when i pressed facebook icon i got this ,

You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application , if you want to use this application ,please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan

can someone please point me in the right direction to sort this , thanks

A blackberry requires a specific BLACKBERRY data plan. They generic one won't cut it.

You'll have to call up 3 and ask for the blackberry specific plan

As said above, Facebook is one of the apps that require RIM specific data services and the only way to get that is to add the BB dataplan to the account. Not sure of the cost but here in the US it is about $30 a month over and above the voice services.
