I'm hoping very much you may be able to help me out as Vodafone don't know what's wrong and swapping my device made no difference. RIM say speak to Vodafone and we go around in a circle.
I get my enterprise e-mails pushed to my Blackberry Curve 9300, when covering Out of hours all the alerts come form a specific address so I have a Sound for contact setup to beep when it gets a message.
However sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, I know the BB knows its matched the rule because it lists the e-mails under the contact. However it means I'm missing system alerts (especially out of hours and overnight when I'm not checking the BB).
Does anyone have any ideas why this would be.
I also have problems where e-mails get stuck, choosing delete prior deletes all but a few e-mails, manually deleting these also leaves them there, the only way to delete is to connect to BB desktop and wipe all the messages but it happens again after a few days.
The Reconcile option seems to do nothing.
I just thought I'd mention this as well in case it's related.
As I say I've tried replacing the device, doing a security wipe (and restoring only contacts) all with no success.
I've even considered an upgrade to a 9360 but my company does not want to replace a 6 month old handset which is understandable especially as they don't know if it will fix it.
