9300 with 6.0 from AT&T

BlackBerry Desktop 6.1 on Windows 7 64-bit

downloaded 5.0.0.1602 and installed on PC. Deleted vendor.xml

Run loader.exe /nojvm

"The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system adminstrator".

I tried to upgrade to Desktop 7.0 but it says it can't be validated.

How can I fix it?

Likely there is more than one copy of vendor.xml on the c: drive. You have to find and delete all of them...
