How long since you upgraded last time? You know you can have $250.00 billed to your account and just pay the other half up front if your account is current. That's what i do when i pay retail.

well, i think i paid the full price for the curve when it was released so it might have been before that when i purchased the razr2. it was probably close to a year ago. i was hoping it would come in a bit less. i just can't afford $500 at one shot. i guess paying $250 and having the rest billed would be helpful. Oh well, I'll see what happens. i'll go in seeking any upgrade price i can get.

How do you do that? Do you just call Customer Service, I am due for a upgrade in March but want the phone now.

Check closely with them. I was originally told I wasn't eligible, and it will only cost me $50 more.

It's on their testman.verizonwireless.com however I wouldn't bet the farm on $219 being the release price.

I just checked that site and it seems to have been taken off, they must of noticed the external IPs hitting that site. But they did have a cool flash piece on the homepage for the storm.

Keep in mind the specs are from the 8830 and the price may be from the 8830 as well. They might update the price in the next few days.
