Is it possible that the storm will become available to other networks just as the curve, which was exclusively released to at&t, was later released to other carriers?

From what I've heard, Verizon has a lifetime exclusive on the Storm unless they fail to meet quota in sales (this could be outdated info, though); however, RIM is coming up with a GSM Storm variant for North American carriers.
