Will the storm release as CDMA before GSM?

Im in Canada and its looking like the storm will be released to CDMA before to comes to GSM... Would this not be a first? Is this is so have the CDMA providers suck their foot in the door (finally)?

Correct the GSM version launched first in the U.K. Verizon on CDMA was second.

This is what I was thinking as they would get the fastest return on investment by supplying GSM first but you would think the north american providers would be all over this.

Im wondering if the tides are turning

The Storm was developed by RIM with the direct input of Vodafone and Verizon which is why they got it first.
