I ask as the demo phone I got to play with compared to mine were night and day in regards to response and of course feel. I would recommend anyone having sluggishness with key response after adjusting your options to remove the film and see how it performs then.

Also, if you didnt notice, there are 2 plastic film on the front, first is the one which covers the screen, 2nd is on top which has the menu and esc text on it.

I kept the full screen cover on and bought a few more. I prefer it.

I still have the screen protector on it. I have an Invisible Shield coming. For those who have used the Invisible Shield, how would the screen protectors compare? The stock one is quite dull and is already showing scratches.

I use Invisible Shields on all my mobile equipment and I wouldn't use anything else. My iPod has been through hell without a case and only the shield on it, and you would think it was new.

I liked the factory screen protector, until you put it in the light and the scratches show. I got a ZAGG shield a week before the launch and just put it on tonight (haven't had time). I like the durable feel of the ZAGG better. Now, to order the shield for the top, bottom, and back.

Any tips you can give us for a successful installation of the Invisible shield onto the storm or any other electronic device?

So once installed properly it hardly ever shows any scratches on the film? That's pretty impressive if it stays scratch free. I've had other after market shields in the past and they've all protected the device but would scratch like hell and look like crap!

I've never used the Invisible Shield, but I've used a skin from Best Skins Ever, Inc. Home Page on my Curve since I got it two months ago, and the phone and skin look brand new. I'd totally recommend getting one, and I plan on getting one from BSE when I get my Storm/the skins start shipping.

I would be very careful with the invisible shields on the Storm. You have to use water and I would be worried about getting water down in the gap around the screen.

Hi, I took the 1st later off that protected it.. then found it very difficult to type etc... so 3 days into using mine I have after noticing imperfections in it (bubbles etc) realised there was another screen protector on, removed this one and it reacts much quicker. how ever I am now very worried about damaging the screen..

What is the best protection and still makes usage easy?

I had mine on until last night when I saw the scratches and bubble that was on my wifes cover. I bought the 3 pack from Verizon for $10, and it amde the screen look even better!

I checked out that site and even though the skin kit for the Storm isn't out yet the one for the i-phone looks like the way the skin covers the corners is in slits and exposes some of the device leaving it vulnerable for dirt and scratches to reach those areas. Not sure if Invisible Shield has that for their corners as well.

I think it honestly depends on the device and its angles. I managed to get the edges of the skin lined up pretty well on my mom's Curve. The way I see it, there's always going to be a risk for dirt and scratches in the design of a skin, unless you send your phone off to be shrinkwrapped in one.

Just ordered mine from Screen Patronus (search with google). Just a screen cover, better than zagg in my opinion, and about $10/shipped for a package of 3. Have one on my Curve and they are great.
