Default NEW Guy on the Block - New Storm user

Please Login to Remove!

I am a new BB user and need some help. Long time user of mobile windows system so I[m having to do mental conversions of hwo things operate. Probably not the smart way, but my way. I apologize for the beginner quetions, but I seem to be lacking a guide for operation.

I would first of all ask if anyone can point me in the way of finding a good guide to operation of the Storm. Is there such a thing? I can't seem to determine how files are loaded onto the system and once there, how do I access them. I ahve a number of documents that I need to keep with em all the time to send to clients but I can't seem to find the equivalent of a 'file explorer".

I don't know how to set up a signature block for my email messages. I need to have one or more signatures to select from when I contact customers or when I am contacting friends. Any thoughts?

I know these new system have issues and I am willing to work them out but that's what these forums are about aren't they?

In order to put a signature in your email, you have to go to the blackberry internet Service website. There you can set up your emails if you have not done that yet, or edit the ones you have. Then in the edit area, you can put in a signature. I can't remember the site right off hand but If you google "Verizon Blackberry Internet Service" It should be one of the first sites that come up. Good Luck!

Default thanks!

Thanks fo much for the help. Got the signature thing done. Now 2 more questions and I'm wrapping it up for today.

- How do I find the files on my BB? Is there an equal to 'file explorer' or similar?

- I tried to change the wallpaper. The instructions I found were on the Storm timps and hints page (sorry, I don't have enough points to post the link here, but it's one of those posted before).

I went into the OPTIONS list but couldn't find the matching info anywhere. Could not find ANY reference to wallpaper. Where did I go wrong?

I don't have one but try, Media> Pictures> Highlight the pic and push the menu key and set as wallpaper.
