Thumbs up Arabic on BlackBerry Storm, done

Please Login to Remove!

I managed to Arabize the blackberry storm, no input yet, just reading. But I know I will also have an Arabic Keyboard layout in the near future for the Storm. If you have any questions please visit the website in my signature block.

If I buy this from you now, as you listed, without input, when you manage the input thing will you provide it to me with this purchase? or do I have to wait until you manage the input thing and buy it at that time?

Arabic Available for Blackberry Storm for free - here's how:

Arabic Available for Blackberry Storm - here's how:

You have to to first update the OS to v4.7.0.99 or which ever is the latest at the time your reading this thread, then go when you connect your blackberry to your computer and run the desktop manager go into the settings before uploading and choose English and Arabic or any of the other languages. Then when the upload is complete and you disconnect the blackberry from the computer it will ask you what language you want to use, choose english and the other selected language such as Arabic. If you do not select Arabic it will be removed from your blackberry, however you can still read arabic emails and texts.

Before posting this thread I tried it my self and it works fine. I typed an email in Arabic from my blackberry storm and I also sent my self an email from my computer to my blackberry storm and it also worked fine.

P.S. Make sure you don't pay $10 like suggested on other websites. This info is free and there is no need to pay.

cmink,

there is already a post for Hebrew. Do a search for the particular thread.

Isalhia,

Shukra!, I've been desparately needing Arabic script abilities to practice typing as part of my Farsi studies.

Salam alaikum ikwan
