I think I've got my problem pinpointed down...

When the phone is both in and out of the holster, and has gone into "sleep" mode, I'm not getting any audible alerts for messages...sms, mms or anything. I do get the LED lighting up to indicate a new message.

I've triple checked all my settings. And it happens no matter which profile I use. Anyone having the same trouble? Anyone find a way to fix it?

Are you sure that the volume setting under the holster settings is not on mute?

Yep...I've triple checked EVERYTHING. I don't get it.

Mine is doing the same, but it doesn't fail to make sound all of the time, but close to 85% of the time. You can hear the speaker click when it should be making a sound if you listen closely.

Any other thoughts?

On closer inspection, that is EXACTLY what mine is doing...and same, only 85% of the time.

This is busted ... This is a major issue ... I can't miss messages

Same problem here. I cannot stand it! Also, even when you are setting your allert message, if you press the "try it" button, you will hear that speaker click sometimes too rather than the tone. This one needs to be addressed quickly.

Make sure your clock app is not running from the last time you charged the phone. If it is going automatically into "bedside mode" it may not be coming back out.
