Default Icon Stuck in App Switcher

Please Login to Remove!

I have an icon "Application Center" stuck in the switcher bar. Clicking on it does nothing but close the switcher. If I start the application center I get a 2nd icon in the switcher. It's not the end ofhte world but it just bugs the crap out of me. any idea on how to get rid of it? tried pulling the battery but it comes back after a reboot. TIA

sorry, what is the "switcher bar"? Did you highlight (don't click, just hold your finger on the) ICON, and then hit MENU and then MOVE to the "HOME" menu? Once in the HOME menu, you can highlight again, and MOVE to where you want it within the home menu
