I have a BOLD and my gov't rep is overnighting a Storm to me for delivery Monday. What kind of case comes w/ it? Is it like the BOLD? Heavy duty clip, wide flap w/ BB logo embroidered on front and back.

Doesn't come with any case . Only a house charger and usb cord

Perhaps the logic is that one of the draws of BlackBerry and a carry case/holster is the sleeper function of the case, and according to reports on another forum the sleeper function of a holster is not there in the BlackBerry Storm for Verizon (no magnet). This is annoying.

I got the storm on friday and the blackberry leather case with the clip on it from verizon and from what i can tell, the case does put the phone to sleep. when it goes in half way, the screen turns off and all the settings under alerts and IM's apply for the sleep mode in preferences...but i was upset that verizon didnt include even a sleeve for the storm

It fits perfectly in a curve case if that is what you are moving from and the magnet location must be the same as that puts it to sleep too.

The VZ pouch case won't be for most people. It is a pouch with a clip meaning it is difficult to get in and out as well as being big and ugly.

None comes with it. Capitalism is the reason, another way for Verizon to make more money! They got mine because I bought 2 for me and the wife plus the screen protector, i'm not about to ruin this gorgeous piece of electronic dream of mine. Funny huh? But I'm serious! I'm a true crackberry addict!

I picked up the case that Verizon sold on Friday (case reminds you of the one that came with the BB 8830).

I went back today for the screen protector.

ditto was not pleased that i had to pay for the carrying case also
