Default Speed Dial setup is not working correctly

Please Login to Remove!

I am having trouble setting up Speed Dials. I am following the directions to go to Phone, Menu, Speed Dial Locations. However, once in Speed Dial, things don't work. I attempt to slect a blanck location, but all that seems to do is move an existing speed dial automaticall to that spot (temporarily as it won't stick). Pushing the Menu key does not bring up any Speed Dial options (i.e. Select Contact). Also I have attempted to add a couple of contacts to Speed Dial, and have gotten them there (sort of). I can't perminently move them. I can't delete them either, as the menu does not show that option. If I actually click the speed dial, it automatically attempts to connect (rather than letting me choose some action).

Is there a way to reset the Speed Dial settings.

Thanks!

I have the same issue. Any ideas for a solution to this?

If you open up the phone (press Send), then press options, there's a view Speed Dial List option.

Highlight (don't click) the button (1-9) you want to change, then hit the options button.

This allows you to edit, move or delete one already set up, or create a new one in an empty slot.

Hope this helps.
