Nice! I look forward to this since my main computer is a Macbook and it's a pain to try and get to a PC to update my Blackberry.

The only draw back I see for now is the OTA only works for your carrier. No stealing another carriers OS via OTA which would be nice but I am not complaining.

At this point it only does certain modules. It took 15 minutes start to finish.

I was thinking that it would updates components rather than entire OS!

Do you think then that we will ever have to connect to pc to do a complete reload of an OS?

At this point yes the OTA delivery of OS is not complete. In the future I would say you would not have to. Just like the Sidekick has done for 6 years.

I look farward to those days but then again what will we ever have to help with on bbf then?

A new set of issues I'm sure

Yes Sidekick is 100% OTA OS updates from day one. Have to give Danger a little credit.

That was pretty much the only good thing about Sidekicks, speaking as someone who used to use them and then saw the light with BlackBerry.

So they will be doing updates modular instead of full tilt OS. God programming in my eyes.
