Hey Guys,

I'm a developer and use a library called J4ME. Anyways, download their sample app from your BB. Run the GPS app. It will find your location and give you your coordinates.

Apparently I can't post URL's. So I'll try it like this:
www . scoreout . com / j4me / ota

Would you mind explaining what you mean? Are you stating that you need this app in order for GoogleMaps to work? Or is this app a replacement for GM?

He means neither. Many have speculated that the GPS is locked ONLY to VZNav and BB Maps, hence why Gmaps hasnt worked with our gps. But that is incorrect and he is simply stating that he is able to access the gps from another program and pull the correct coordiantes, prooving that the GPS is NOT locked and that gmaps has not correctly implemented gps and functionality with the storm yet.

aGPS or assisted gps which uses gps and cell tower triangulation and server processing to obtain a faster and according to verizon more accurate lock on your position is still Locked too all apps except vznav as it uses verizons resouces.
