Default 2 questions from new guy: email sig removal and email sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. Thanks for all the advice. I have 2 questions:

1. How do I remove the default sig "Sent from my bb" blahblah.. I want NO sig at all.

2. When I recive email on my mac (yes, mac mail) I read it and so forth.. however all the mail still sits on my BB as unread. Does the bb have a way to sync wirelessly and keep up/refelct my desktop mail?

It seems to work from the bb back yo the mac, but not from the mac out to the bb after I have read them.

thanks

For your mac mail, are you using the integrated .mac (AKA .me) mail service Or the apple mail app with something like gmail?

I use .mac (now called .me). It works great! I just would like to see the BB reflect read messages from the desktop. I have called Verizon and the operator said hers does the same as mine... Does everybody have to clear "new email" on the BB even after they read it on the desktop? Goodgrief.

True bidirectional sync is not available without BES. You will have variations of it one way or another if you are using iMap however.

1. you can change your sig info in your BIS setup for each account.
2. If you read it on your desktop, to my understanding it will not show as read on your bb. There is a workaround in which you can do when you read a message on your BB that it will show as read in your mailbox on your mail server, though not on your desktop.
