Default One function that Palm did better -- Address/contact cross referencing

Please Login to Remove!

It's hard for me to believe that Blackberry left this function out, but I can't find it.

When setting a "subject" in the calendar, why isn't there a prompt to choose an entry from my contacts? With the Palm, there was a prompt "Add from Phonebook", and I would be able to click and the contact name, phone number and even an address would paste in on the event.

Not only does this make entry faster, but it's great to have the phone number right there when the appt comes about, so you don't have to leave the calendar function to find the number.

I hope I am missing it and someone here will enlighten me.
