When playing multiplayer, do you think its really fair? I ahve a storm and my coworker has a bold. Im waaaayyyy faster at just pressing the letter I want on the LCD but she has to use the roller ball, navigate to the letter, and select it.

I always win and I think that may be why :(

I read somewhere to use words beginning with trans and it has increased my score so that i'm routinely in the 5000-6000 range. My high score is now 8719 - it does make the game a little boring in the first levels as you only look for the letters trans - if i can't find an A I do trendy or trendier or trendiest or if there is no f or p to follow trans i can change it quickly to trains. I tried dis words with no luck. I'm stuck at 29 279 in the vegetable patch.

My high score is 9085, and 36/506 for the bonus results.

That may not be much when compared to what some have claimed to have scored, but I am also posting a screen shot of the score.

I too have found it very frustrating when some legitimate words are NOT accepted, like blog, mote, whore, piss, fart, while others like ***** (synonym:cat) and penis ARE accepted in the game. Go figure!

Also I have discovered that many names for people are accepted, like Harry or Thomas or Hayes or Willis.

If it makes you feel any better, I too believe you made that score, even though my high is only 9085, and I am proud of it. To get beyond just a few thousand points you HAVE to use the letters that come up highlighted as tomatoes. Multiple highlighted letters in a single word also score big time.

One strategy that I find helpful is starting with a small word that can be used as is, or can be added to. I like to find the word "fright" then see if I can add -en to it; then see if I can add -ing to that; then see if I can add -ly to that. "Frighteningly" can get you a frighteningly big score!

Sex is also another good word (!). I find it usually stands out. Then if there are the letters -ual you can add them to the word; then if there is -ity you can add that as well. Unfortunately "sexualities" is unaccepted by the game. ;-(

My best is 11241, level 34. 31/419 for the bonus. I look for -ing -ed -ly. add 5 letters and boom, 7 and 8 letter words. But I have a hard time going beyond 9. 10 is the best length I've managed. I've tried longer and never succeeded. I love word games. Are there others for the storm?

I am glad for everyone who has posted a high score, but I it would carry a lot more weight if a screen shot were posted with the score (as some have already suggested and have done). Not that I don't believe anyone, but....

The way I got my screen shot (see about 5 posts back) was by using my digital camera. I had to turn OFF the flash, but make sure there was lots of other light around it. And, of course, I had to hold the camera very still. Then I cropped the picture, and... voila, proof! Not that it was a VERY high score - 9085 - but I think it is the highest one with a screen shot.

My longest and highest scoring single word was "scientifically" (14 letters).

I know most people have their model in their user information but it really is necessary to differentiate between the Bold and the Storm. My wife and I have both and with the Bold I can't get over about 9500 but with the Storm I can get 15K easily cause it's so much faster with the touchscreen.
