I am on a BES...

How do I:

#1 Get the BB to download more than just 3 days of emails over the air

#2 Get the Emails to show anything when I open them up. I always have to click "more available" to see even the smallest messages. (FYI I have tried the Allow More Always option in Email settings to no avail)

1. This is set by the BB server.

2. is this happening with new emails? The old ones may do this after the activation.

What do you mean by activation? I already activated this yesterday with my BES password from work...

That's the activation of which I speak. When the emails come down during the activation they will come down as headers only, many times. New emails received after activation should have the text included. If they don't, give your IT dept a call.

When you open the old mail you can hit more. The old emails will be header only until you ask for more. What's the big deal?

The number of messages that can be pre-populated on a BES activated device depends on what is configured in the BES server. I forget what the default is, but it can be bumped up to 14 days with a maximum message count of 1000 messages. The only way to get more messages is to make the change in BES, delete the user from BES, and then re-activate the user on the BES.
