Default Quick question

I just received the storm from verizon and use to have the pearl but my question is how do you delete multiple messages with your mailbox or
Sms folder? Usually with the pearl you could press and hold the bottom right button and use the trackball to highlight your selected messages and delete them.

Also, on the pearl whenever you would receive a email, you would get a text in your message in box and the specific email account. Is there a way to do this on the storm?

I am not sure how to delete multiple messages that you select, but you can go to a specific date (make sure the date is highlighted), hit the BB key and select "Delete Prior", and it will erase all the prior emails. If you want to save any emails and not erase them, you can select the email, hit the BB button and choose "save". Then if you do a mass delete of prior emails, the saved emails will remain in your saved folder. I wish there was an easier way, but this is the only way I have figured out.

Also, in order to get the mail in your Messages inbox, open your messages, hit the BB button and select options/general options/ and on "SMS and Email Inboxes" make sure it says "Combined". Then it should all go into your message inbox, and your individual email accounts. I put a new folder on my desktop, named it "mail" and moved all my email accounts into that folder. Cleans it up a bit. Hope this helps!

Too delete mulitple messages barely touch the first message with one finger and then go to the other messages and barely touch the screen with another finger while still having the first on the orginal message and it will highlight them all. Then delete.

Does any one know how to easily get rid of the keyboard when you are through typing? I know you can press the back button but is there a way while depressing the screen?

"flick" downwards on the screen and it should push the keyboard down, and vice-versa with bringing the keyboard back up

One idea is to set up your right or left convenience key to operate the virtual keyboard, you can turn the keyboard on and off in any application.

In some applications, you can swipe downward on the screen and the keyboard goes away, but it does not always seem to work. That is why I set up my right convenience key.
