Default Call shows "connected" right away?

Please Login to Remove!

I looked through the forums and did not see any other posts out there on this so I figured I would ask if anyone else had the same issue...

When I dial a number (either directly or speed dial), the screen shows "Calling" for a fraction of a second, then switches to "Connected" immediately, even before the phone starts ringing. On my previous BBs (Pearl, Curve), the OS would normall show "Calling" until the phone was answered, and then it would change to "Connected".

This is important when you have contacts with pauses in the phone number to enter an extension... the pause begins immediately when the status changes to "Connected", so this is throwing the timings off on all the calls.

Anyone else seeing this?

I have a Verizon Storm 9530, and I have tried this with the .65 and .75 versions of the Firmware.
