When you update you device in BIS do you use the IMEI or the MEID (hex) for the 9530.

I occurred to me today that this might be my problem because Verizon was so focused on the MEID (hex) I am thinking this might be why I am not getting EDGE and only edge. I used the IMEI when updating my device in the BIS system should I have used the MEID hex. Also, if IMEI is needed do I need to include the periods or just the number.

IMEI will be fine.. Periods will be fine as well..
