Default Deleting Multiple Messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Does anyone know an easy way to delete multiple emails and texts?

I send something like 100 texts / emails a day and ideally I want it to auto delete every 3 days to free up memory.

Someone mentioned hover to select multiple messages but i can't get that to work for me, anyone else?

If not, is there an option to save texts on the memory card, not on the phone?

Thanks

Texts can't be saved on a memory card, no. If you put your finger on the date header over messages and hit the menu key, you can select to option to delete prior so that all the messages prior to the date header will be deleted.

I loved the 30 day auto delete function on my 8830. I used to spend so much time on my treo deleteing emails. The treo 700 would crash if you tried to delete more than 100 messages. With the 8830 and now storm I just never delete messages. Let the phone take care of it is what I say.

you can use two fingers to hover over one message then type the message below that with other finger, now you can select multiple messages to delete

use the search function and you can filter out certain people that you frequently talk to.

hit search, type name, and it filters them out..

great way to free up my messages bc the GF blows me up!
