Default Error message when trying to make a call. WTF?

Please Login to Remove!

It just started this morning. I have had the phone for about 2 weeks.

A box pops up with a ! and it says uncaught exception index 40 >= 40

I called VZW tech support from a friends phone and they say they can't do anything with it until I get home to my PC and hook it up to the desktop software. Said something about a hard reset. What is that? I tried a battery pull several times and it doesn't change anything.

The box will pop up and it has an "OK" button, but if you press it the phone just freezes. A battery pull will bring it back up, and everything works but trying to make a call. If I press the little green call button it pops the box up.

I'm lost. I could really use my phone right now to make some calls too, but I can't, lol.

You can always try wiping the handheld, that should reset everything for you unless firmware is currupted. In that case you will have to reload the unit using your PC. To wipe go under security settings. Make sure you have no data that needs to be saved, in that case you will have to run a backup using your PC first.

Well the only other thing that you can try right now is removing any third party applications, battery pull and try again. Did you install anything recently?
