I'm chalking this up to a hardware issue, but figured I'll run it by everyone here first.

Just got my Storm yesterday. I noticed last night that it wasn't detecting the included 8GB SD card (not sure if it was seeing it before). In Options->Memory I have a message saying "A media card is not presently inserted." I've tried:

1) A different SD card
2) Formatted both SD cards on a PC at FAT32
3) Every permutation of battery pull I could think of (SD card in, out, replace after it's rebooted, etc)
4) Whacked the OS with JL_Cmdr
5) Of course I've checked all settings in Options->Memory

So I'm about to call Verizon and get a replacement, but I did a stupid thing and already put on my Invisible Shield (and anyone who has used them knows that's not a fun experience). So, any ideas?

i had the same problem i did a battery pull and that worked for me..

did this fix your issue ? im running into this today
